The Business of the 21st Century

We just updated our previous post Leaders are Readers in the category Wellness Product Reviews with a review of the recently published book The Business of the 21st Century by Robert Kiyosaki.

The book clearly presents the nature and benefits of the network marketing business model.  It also presents better than I ever could why network marketing, representing ASEA, fits us and may fit those who read this blog.  Because of a negative experience with network marketing by a member of our family back in the 70’s, we were very skeptical of this business model.  With a BS in Physics from Drexel University, two years in the U.S. Army, an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and then 22 years in the corporate world, I never thought that we would be network marketers.

We were introduced to ASEA as a business and a product experience.  My wife, Grace, had strange allergy that produced a crazy amount of sneezes.   Traditional medicine over had not helped at all.  We sprayed ASEA and soon the problem disappeared.  Coincidence, placebo? Who knows.  My physics background made me curious.  After study and other personal experiences with friends using the ASEA products, I concluded that there was something to redox molecule signaling and a cellular health approach.

This all happened after I had been retired from the corporate world for seven years and involved in community and public service activities.  We always said that we would start our own business after our youngest graduated from high school.  After the positive product experiences, we became intrigued with the possibilities inherent in network marketing, the distribution channel used by ASEA.  Again, I put my analytical bent to work and ultimately concluded that with the right market and the right company that this was the business for us.

Over next weeks we will periodically take a piece from The Business of the 21st Century and relate it to our experience with ASEA.
