Think about a Home-Based Business

The August 2008 issue of Play, the New York Times Sports Magazine, featured a series of articles on the Olympics.  All of the advertising in the issue was placed by Nielsen.  The ads ask questions about trends and concerns about issues that matter to all of us.

A number of ads are related to what we do as Wellness Consultants to help others grow a network marketing business, by spreading the message around the world of the benefits of living in a Wellness Home.

Although the Play issue is a few years old, we believe the survey results remain pertinent today.

As background, the following is from the now defunct Nielsen web site, JustAsknNelsen.com.

Nielsen is a global information and media company with leading market positions and recognized brands in marketing and media information, online intelligence, business publications and trade shows.  Our clients rely on Nielsen’s information, insight and analysis for their sales and marketing solutions.

One of the ads in the magazine that grabbed my attention was titled, “What’s Worrying you?”  The question was asked of people in all countries of the world.  The choices for issues to worry about were the following:

  • Health
  • Parents’ Welfare
  • Crime
  • Job Security
  • The Economy
  • Work/Life Balance
  • Children’s Welfare/ Education
  • Global Warming
  • Debt

How would you answer these questions?

Some sample conclusions:

  • At 1% Americans, Koreans and French are the least concerned about crime.
  • More people in India are concerned about global warming (9%) than any other country.
  • More people in Indonesia are concerned about work/life balance (24%) than any other country.  The least concerned are those in Austria, Germany and the U.S., each at 8%

The answer to what was worrying people in the global survey in rank order was as follows:

  1. The Economy (20%)
  2. Work/Life Balance (15%)
  3. Job Security (10%)
  4. Health (9%), Children’s Welfare/Education (9%)
  5. Debt (8%)
  6. Global Warming (4%), Political Stability (4%), Parents” Welfare (4%)
  7. Crime (3%)

Now, what does this have to do with Healthy Living Resources  and ASEA?  The answer is that the issues that worry people can move them to action to address their concerns.

A home-based business with ASEA or any quality network marketing company can at the start be a safety net, a Plan “B” that protects against the uncertainties of The Economy.  There is the potential with a focused effort that the start-up part-time business can grow to a business with independent business units in many markets throughout the world, thus diversifying risk.

ASEA’s mission is world health. In today’s global economy and current market conditions, Job Security is a rare concept.  Our ASEA team is always interested in mentoring new business partners.

We distribute Health and wellness via the cellular health.

Debt in today’s economy is a major issue with, for example, home foreclosure looming for many and fuel prices only going to go up for the foreseeable future.  What would an extra $500 to $1000 per month do for those with concerns about Debt? These income levels are quite achievable with ASEA and a number of other quality network marketing companies.
