Ultramarathoning and Asea

My good friend, David Stretanski and I, plus a group of runners, went out on a hilly five mile run this morning.  This past Sunday David completed a 50 mile unltramarathon race, finishing fifth.

Today, David led the charge up some pretty steep hills and at the end of the run he out sprinted me to the finish.  David is a teacher of the principles of chi running and walking and is also an advocate of using Asea for performance, recovery and general health.

After the stress on the body of a hard 50k run, it was amazing to see how easily and comfortably David was able to run today.  He had recovered completely from the 50k – a testimony to both the benefits of chi running techniques and Asea.
